For more than 30 years, Band Zink has been producing and servicing continuous galvanizing line equipment. It has extensive experience and technical expertise designing, manufacturing and servicing pot hardware used in zinc, galvannealed, Galfan®, Galvalume® and aluminum coatings melt baths and has developed innovative, patented solutions for bearings, bearing arms and bath rolls.

SMS Millcraft and Band Zink are the exclusive US supplier of a state-of-the-art tungsten carbide/cobalt high-velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) coating system for bath rolls. This system produces a dense carbide coating that has exceptional hardness, compressive and traverse rupture strength, wear resistance and long service-life. As a result, zinc bath rolls coated with our system have greatly increased resistance to corrosion and wear and extended service lives; zinc dross adhesion is minimized, and they produce galvanized steel strip product free of surface defects.

We also provide a full range of high-quality spare parts and V-shaped ceramic bearings that dramatically improve bath roll stability and provide extremely long service lives.
