Technical and field services
SMS Millcraft has repaired or manufactured virtually every piece of equipment used in steel and aluminum production. Using this hands-on experience and our technological expertise, our staff of experienced technical, operational and process control experts provide systems services, including field diagnostics and alignment, an Integrated Condition Monitoring System (ICMS) and technicalservices/project management to help metals producers achieve their productivity and quality goals. Services are available round-the-clock and can be provided as-needed or on a contract basis.
To enhance our field service capabilities, we now use the latest advancement in measurement technology, a 3-D laser computer-aided contact coordinate measurement system. With it, our technical and process experts can more precisely align, inspect and set-up any type of metals-making equipment that requires precision alignment and do it faster. As a result, equipment operates better and produces consistently better quality product.
